What does Peter hold out in front of Mouschi's nose to try to lure her back inside in Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl?

Mouschi is a "spritely" male cat that belongs to Peter van Daan, one of the occupants of the secret annex in Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl. Mouschi often serves as both a nuisance and source of entertainment for the families living there. Peter is particularly preoccupied with the creature, who seems to like to play hard to get.

After Peter forgets to retrieve some bread from a steel cabinet in the warehouse one day, he is forced to crawl back to get it, at which point Mouschi manages to escape. Peter tries to pull the cat from his hiding spot under a desk, but Mouschi only hisses at him and moves to a window, where she begins to lick herself, "very pleased at having escaped Peter's clutches." Peter finally manages to lure Mouschi back inside by offering her a piece of the bread he's just taken from the warehouse.
