How many planets have more moons than Jupiter?

Moons are the natural satellites of a planet. Among the 8 planets of our solar system, all of the planets except for Mercury and Venus have moons. Jupiter has the highest number of moons among all the planets of our solar system. It has a total of 67 moons, including 50 known (and confirmed) moons and 17 moons that are awaiting official confirmation. Saturn has the next highest number of moons and it has 62 moons, including 53 known moons and 9 moons that are yet to be confirmed. In comparison, our Earth has only 1 moon. Our neighbor Mars has 2 moons (Phobos and Deimos).

Thus, no planet in our solar system has more moons than Jupiter.

Some of the famous moons of Jupiter include Ganymede, Io, Europa, and Callisto.
