As per ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 2008, Sample sizes are designated by Code Letters.
We have to use Table I of ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 to find the applicable code letter for the particular lot or batch size and the prescribed inspection level.
In the given case ,
Inspection level is III Normal and lot size is 15000
Refer Table-1 , For Lot or batch size of 10001 to 35000 and General Inspection Level III , Code Letter is N.
Now we have to refer to Table II-A of ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 (Single sampling plans for normal inspection .
From the Table II-A,
For Code Letter N , Sample Size (n) is 500 and for given AQL of 0.15; Acceptance number`(A_c)` is 2 and Rejection number`(R_e)` is 3.
